At Adaptive, we believe effective strategic planning and program design are grounded in program learning, first asking where we are to more clearly help us define where we are going and how to get there. We promote approaches that are participatory and inclusive, engaging with a variety of stakeholders—especially our teams, implementing partners, and target populations—to identify needs, gaps, opportunities, and priorities within communities. Based on these results, we can then mobilize efforts accordingly. These learning-based, participatory approaches enable us to define strategies and design programs that are innovative, impactful, scalable, and sustainable.

Illustrative Services:

• Lead assessments or reviews to determine where we are (including primary data collection).

• Facilitate strategic planning and/or program design workshops to define (or refine) the goals, priorities, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPI).

• Enable action planning that clearly defines the steps, timeframes, milestones, and roles and responsibilities required to achieve the stated strategic or programmatic goals.

• Establish appropriate systems and processes to document progress, measure impact, and ensure iterative adaptation that enables the organization or project to remain agile and responsive.
